Cotiella

The pic looks so small in the distance, but I can assure you that climbing up from Santa Isabel at 1542m to the top of Cotiella at 2912m was quite a trek. My heart was set on it, nevertheless, as I had admired Cotiella peaking over the top of the Peña Montanesa on many an occasion driving up from Barbastro to Ainsa.

Take plenty of water as the last souce is the Calva fountain though even this cannot be depended upon in summer. The landscape is one of great erosion producing gullies, ridges, and sinkholes especially in the area known as the "ereta de la brujas". Also, keep a close eye out for the cairns; it can make life easier especially when beginning the crossing of the "ereta". Another useful tip from a fellow trekker is to keep the solitary pine tree in middle of "ereta" to your right on way up. Thanks for that Jose Ignacio it made for easier going on way down.

The walk is hot and long, but I wouldn't have missed out on it. Some serious 360º views from top made it all worthwhile.

Motorhome Ferrari

Cool was my first impression! They do the bulk of their travelling with the motorhome and when they fancy a quick spin somewhere, out comes the Magnum Ferrari. Great picture, no?

Reality check-2 English guys on a mission to deliver the Ferrari to Huesca and pick up a Lamborgini on way back for UK customer! I'll happily go for a spin in the Ferrari should the offer arise.
