Via Ferrata: Cascada del Sorrosal

200m of climbing with harness on via ferrata. The ladders are quite impressive from a distance, the changeover from one to another was impressive in reality. From the ladders, you pass through the mountain legs wedged on both walls to avoid wetting feet in stream below exiting in canyon. A new experience to be repeated despite passing a few unsure moments!

Mountain barn for holiday rent

Recently restored stone barn set in spectacular mountain setting at entrance to Posets-Maladeta Natural Park. Access is via the track that leads to the start of Ibon de Sen walk near San Juan de Plan. From village, it is a 10kms drive along a mountain piste, better to have 4X4 but also practicable by car taking it slowly.
The barn has 2 bedrooms with beds measuring 135cms. Each bedroom also has a foldaway single bed.
Ideal for those who want to get away from it all for a while, yet at the same time enjoy everyday luxuries: kitchen, bathroom, television etc... The barn functions with solar energy.
