Sweet smells

A walk from San Juan to Gistain to Serveto to Plan proved a delight to the senses: wonderful blossoms and even more wonderful scents-the sweet aroma of apple blossom, the honey smell of the "boj" boxwood, lavender, thyme, mint and broom-a spiky plant with a delicious scented yellow flower.

In the meadows of Dondelapart near San Juan, minature versions of daffodils grow. A small bouquet in a vase imparts a wonderful heady, exotic scent to my home.
