First Ultra Trail in Sobrarbe

First day of first Ultra Trail Sobrarbe. About 30 odd runners set out from Abizanda at 10am to cover the first stage to Ainsa via Escanilla, Mesón de Liguerre, Liguerre de Cinca, Entremón, Mediano, Humo de Muro, Griébal and Banastón. At a more relaxed pace, about 20 walkers went from Entremón to Griébal. The photos are of the start, Mediano reservoir with Coscojuela de Sobrarbe in background and of Muro de Roda. Throughly enjoyed discovering this part of Sobrarbe, especially from Muro de Roda to Griébal. Tomorrow, a tougher day awaits the participants as they run from Ainsa to Viados via El Pueyo de Araguas, Laspuña, Lafoutunada, Tella, Salinas, Sin, Serveto and Gistain. I'm sure they would welcome any cheer along their route.
